Mike’s passion to provide End customer’s the greatest total value by meeting their technical, operational, logistical, and financial requirements has resulted in product standardizations in dozens of product categories.
Mike holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, Marketing from Iowa State University.

What do you love about the Broadband industry?
Helping Broadband providers has allowed me to get to know many great people and brought me to truly unique places in rural America that I otherwise would have never experienced including South Georgia, the Grand Canyon of Arkansas, the High Desert of Arizona, and remote plains of northeastern Montana.
How has the industry evolved over your career, looking back what is most surprising?
Having dial up modem service was the hot technology when I joined the industry in 1997. Who would have ever imagined 1Gig circuits to the home and wirelessly streaming any series, movie or YouTube video from your family room? It’s hard to believe higher bandwidth services are on their way.
What does your favorite Saturday look like?
Doing anything outside around the house and hiking in a nearby glacial mound forest preserve near my home.
How hobbies and interests do you have outside of work?
Visiting my adult children with my wife in Pittsburgh and North Carolina, backpacking and skiing in Colorado with my children, and elk hunting with family members in southwest Montana.
Tell us something about yourself people may not know?
I’ve spent time multiple years living in the four US Time Zones. I spent 15+ years coaching and as a league commissioner in our local youth soccer organization.
What was your 10 year-old-self’s dream job?
To work as a forest ranger in Montana. I missed the American West when my family moved from Montana to Iowa during grade school.
