How have your previous roles at Precision Group prepared you for a sales position in Broadband?

My previous work at PG and in the industry generally have given me a broad overview of the products, applications, and manufacturing and distribution partnerships that keep the industry moving.

What qualities make you a “Jack of all Trades” with the ability to “wear many hats” in the Precision Group office?

My background includes operations management, managerial accounting, logistics, process optimization, business analytics, and information systems implementation and management. Over the past twelve years or so I don’t think I’ve ever worked in just one role at a time. I’m looking forward to the opportunity to embrace one job and develop some more focused professional capability.

What’s been your favorite hat to wear at Precision Group?

I get a kick out of learning new systems and adapting and developing processes to fit them. I’d have to say being project manager for the implementation of our new inventory management software platform has been my favorite hat to wear so far.

What does your favorite Saturday look like?

My wife and I run a year-round suburban homestead and market garden as our passion project. I spend every Saturday selling fresh produce at Community Farmers Market in Bowling Green.

What hobbies and interests do you have outside of work?

Keeping up with the homestead / market garden fills most of my spare time, but I also sit on the advisory board for a nonprofit that focuses on preventing food waste and distributing food to those without. I have also done a lot of volunteer work with a variety of organizations focused on community development and I’m always keeping an eye out for new opportunities to be of service.

Tell us something about yourself people may not know

I enlisted as a rifleman in the 101st Airborne Division during the late 1990s and traveled to Panama, the UK, and France during the course of my duties.

What was your 10-year-old-self’s dream job?

It’s embarrassing to admit, but I really wanted to be an international jewel thief. Fortunately, I grew out of that phase.

Do you have a motto or personal mantra?

Just keep getting up.

What would be the title of your autobiography?

Task Failed, Successfully
