What do you love about the Broadband industry?

What does your favorite Saturday look like?
Grilling out, shooting guns and trail riding on ATVs with family during the summer months. As the weather gets colder nothing beats watching college football and eating at home.
What hobbies and interests do you have outside of work?
I’ve always been super interested in crime, even as a kid. Whether watching documentaries, reading books, or just enjoying the classic mob movie, I can just devour the true crime stuff.
Tell us something about yourself people may not know?
I decided I didn’t need to wait until I was 18 to get my first tattoo so at 17, in the kitchen of a friends house I had Snoopy, from Charlie Brown tattooed on my arm. As not so great as it is/was I’ve still got the tattoo as something of a reminder that I don’t always know best, even when I think I do.
What was your 10 year-old-self’s dream job?
I wanted to be a lawyer. I was super close with my grandmother and she loved shows like Law & Order or NYPD Blue, so as a kid I thought being a lawyer would be really cool and I’d get to put away the bad guys. It didn’t hurt that even from a young age I really liked to argue or debate, to go back and forth with someone about whatever it may have been was something I enjoyed.
Why are you excited about working at Precision Group? Or Why did you choose to work here?
Being in on the ground floor of most things is always a great opportunity but especially here with such a wonderful group of people. Plus like I mentioned it’s really rewarding to see a service provider share progress of a community that previously didn’t have access or very good access to broadband. Knowing that a couple of months prior I worked up a quote or sent samples for a certain project then seeing the end result for the people within that maybe smaller, more rural corner of the world, is something I really do look forward to everyday.
Do you have a motto or personal mantra?
It is what it is.
A lot of the bigger day to day hurdles we all face in life can be impacted by our actions, but a lot of it is out of our control. You take the hit, regroup and move forward to make an impact on the things you can instead of spending that time on the things you can’t.
What would be the title of your autobiography?
“Well, here we are”
