Precision Group Quality Control Team
The Quality Control Team at Precision Group play a critical role in ensuring our power products meet specification and performance requirements to exceed customer expectations.
The extensive inspection process occurs at pre-production, production, and post production and includes inspecting the injectable parts, looking at physical condition, general appearance, unit operation, electrical performance, thermal testing and stress testing.
Meet the Precision Group quality control team:
Don Wray, Lead Laboratory Technician
Don has many years of experience in factory maintenance, installing and repairing all types of mechanical and electrical systems. Don is instrumental in the testing process and helps us constantly create better working and better looking products. On top of it all, he is great to work with.
Terry Wray, Assistant Laboratory Technician
Terry looks at products from a different lens than anyone at Precision Group. Terry doesn’t come from the broadband industry, which makes him one of the most valuable employees we have. He is a fresh set of eyes on everything we do, helping point out things others would never see. Being brothers, Don & Terry bring a positive attitude to work every day and that great energy flows through the warehouse and into the business.
Mike New (AKA the NEW guy), Assistant Laboratory Technician
Mike is a machinist by trade and a tool and die maker. Mike has a great eye for detail. Mike is “new” to Precision Group and already has made a great impact on the design and quality of our newest products.
Chuck Catanese, Director of Engineering
Chuck is Precision Group’s go-to guy for solving problems in a practical and economic manner. As director of engineering at Precision Group, Chuck Catanese coordinates all aspects of electronic product, specification, design, production, testing, and quality control.
