We are Excited to Announce the Addition of Sean Whalen Regional Account Manager at Precision Group
Sean Whalen delivers sales and educational support to Precision Group customers in the Southeast US. With 11 years in wireless construction and implementation at SAC Wireless and 6 years in sales and management at Graybar, Sean leans on his operational expertise to help customers solve issues.
Sean is passionate about helping others obtain their goals and is always willing to roll up his sleeves and tackle any problem head on, side by side, with his team and customers.
Sean holds a Business Management degree from Eastern Illinois University as well as various indoor DAS platform certifications and is iBwave design certified.

What do you love about the Broadband industry?
Helping bring internet connectivity to the more rural areas, so that they have access to the same advantages (like education or telehealth) that we sometime take for granted while in the larger cities.
How has the industry evolved over your career, looking back what is most surprising?
I had a chance to see 2g sunset, while installing new 3g/4g lte carriers. Now that we are in the midst of 5g and whispers of 6g it has been exciting.
What does your favorite Saturday look like?
On the field coaching my boy’s soccer or football teams! Followed by a swim in the pool or at a bar with live music.
What hobbies and interests do you have outside of work?
Our family is big into hiking, sports and I personally make time for weight lifting and golf (even if I am a hack!)
Tell us something about yourself people may not know?
I was an extra in 2 movies growing up, Home Alone 2 and Dennis the Menace. In the 90s I passed on the chance to be in Leave it to Beaver so that I could play with the neighborhood kids. If I only took that gig and became a child movie star, I may not be here at Precision!
What was your 10 year-old self’s dream job?
Started as a professional soccer player but slowly changed to be an astronaut once I fell in love with the enormity of outer space.
Why are you excited about working at Precision Group?
To be working for like-minded people that are genuinely concerned about their team and helping them max out their potential. As a growing company, I believe I can bring a lot of experience to this team and grow with them.

Either you run the day, or the day runs you.
