The Mud Ring is built for use in Low Voltage applications where there is no gang box. Simply level plate to wall to draw out the cut area, cut out the sheet rock, screw on the Mud Ring and you are ready for placing a jack or ONT enclosure securely to the wall. Low Voltage Mud Rings are common use for Enterprise and Broadband applications.
